Well, you can say Sal’s late to the party again, but I keep finding things I'm excited to tell you about.  Today I want to tell you a little about gardening tunnels you can get from Lehman’s.  Yes, I know, you could have used one earlier this spring to warm up the soil and protect your plants during those late frosts.  But it’s still a good idea to have a garden tunnel or two on hand right now.  You never know, you might have to protect that precious row of lettuce from any hail we might get.  It has been a crazy spring around much of the country you know.  Don’t forget, garden tunnels help protect your plants from pests, too.  Besides, if you get garden tunnels now, you can use them to extend your season a few weeks in the fall.

            These tunnels from Lehman’s extend like an accordion to 10 feet.   You can cover any length of row by overlapping tunnels.  A nice feature is that you can use them with ends opened or closed so they’ll act like a mini greenhouse.  They’ll compact to store flat when you’re ready to put them away for a while.
