Wood Stove Info to Help You Survive This Winter
The smell of wood smoke transports me back to when I was a boy visiting my great grandmother's house. She had a wood stove for heating and cooking that held a prominent place in her small kitchen. I was warned as a child not to get too close to it. Believe me, it radiated enough heat that I didn't want to. How so many of us crammed into her old shack for family reunions was both astounding and bothersome to me. We never lacked for heat at those Christmas gatherings though. The only cold place was upstairs, and that was mostly off limits anyway.
There's a renewed interest in wood stoves these days. A while back I shared an article on buying wood stoves. Below is a video from the people at Lehman's, which shows basic tips on how to properly operate a wood stove for maximum efficiency and safety.
To find out more or to order a stove for heating, click on the Lehman's logo. On their home page, click on the Stoves category. A page will appear to guide you with more information and links. If you decide to call Lehman's at the number given on that page, be sure to mention DestinySurvival.com.
