Get Your Survival Seed Bank Now While You Can!
Last month my poll question asked readers what their main reason is for gardening this year. Though technical difficulties didn’t allow me to get the full results, I can tell you that the top response was concern about food shortage. Now there’s a solution to long term availability of garden seeds to insure you’ll be able to grow your own wholesome food in a garden for years to come.
The Survival Seed Bank lets you plant a full acre crisis garden. This is a selection of hard to find open pollinated, non-hybrid, non-genetically modified, heirloom seeds that will enable you to grow plenty of nutrient dense food for your family. Consider this a form of insurance that gives you peace of mind.
These seeds will provide food for your family year after year when you save seeds at harvest time. The Survival Seed Bank includes seed saving instructions for you on how to save those seeds. This is a very important consideration, since hybrid seeds may be sterile or not breed true the following year. Some seeds now include a terminator gene, meaning they will not produce plants the following year. Survival Seed Bank varieties have been hand picked for germination rate, nutritional density and storage life. Remember, these seeds are non-hybrid and not genetically modified. Seeds were chosen for their good tasting produce as well.
Each seed pack is individually packaged for maximum shelf life. Seeds are carefully dried to the level of moisture that keeps the seeds healthy for storage. Each seed package is then sealed in a special foil packet with a desiccant designed to keep seeds fresh for 20 years at 70 degrees. If you freeze your seed bank you could reportedly increase the shelf life by five times or more beyond that. The seed packs are then vacuumed packed and placed in a special waterproof container that’s practically indestructible.
Each Survival Seed Bank includes 22 varieties of seed. Exact varieties may vary depending on availability, but you can expect to get:
* several varieties of heirloom beans, such as Calypso, Hidatsa Red Bean, and Tiger’s Eye.
* corn varieties such as Bloody Butcher and Country Gentleman
* Lettuces such as Forellenschuss and Speckled lettuce
* Boule d’Or Melon, also known as Golden Perfection

Thanks for your advice!
Survival Seed Banks are an excellent choice for long term survival, but it’s not enough just to purchase survival seeds. In gardening, practice is really important, so my advice would be to start gardening as soon as possible and just learn – gardening knowledge is important.
I wholeheartedly agree! Having a survival seed bank and no gardening knowledge is like having a stash of ammo with no firearm or usable knowledge of firearms if you do own one. Having survival seeds ought to be one important part of a person’s survival strategy.
