Destiny Survival

Just hearing the news these days lets us know there’s a need to be prepared for survival.  For example, the initial panic over the swine flu has subsided, but it’s still something we should be aware of.  It hasn’t gone away.  That’s the case with so many potential threats facing us.

Preparedness isn’t just for immediate emergencies.  So many threats have been hyped, but have come and gone without materializing, and it’s easy to become lax.  It’s important to be ready for those things that seldom come along, such as floods, wildfires, hurricanes, etc.  I know of one family who prepared for Y2K ten years ago, and the fact that nothing happened didn’t change the preparedness mindset they developed.
