Food Storage for Your Pet's Survival?
While many of us take care of ourselves by buying survival gear, supplies, and storage food, what about our pets? They're like members of the family. What if you have a guide dog or service dog because you’re blind or handicapped? Such an animal is important and is more than a pet.
You may have already included your pets in your survival strategy. If not, it’s time to think ahead and make the best decisions now for you and your beloved pets so you’re not faced with making heart wrenching mistakes later. You’ve seen the sad stories of abandoned pets in the aftermath of a flood or hurricane and don’t want your pet to make the news in the same way. Have contingency plans for your pets as well as for your family. Of course, you can get survival kits for pets from Quakekare.
You may have food stored for yourself, but do you have some set aside for your dog, cat, or other pet? You already know canned food has a certain shelf life. Maybe you can keep it around for a year or more. What about dry food?
Recently I found out about a storage bin specially made for pet food. It’s the Bergan Smart Storage container. Bergan's Smart Storage Airtight pet food storage bins have large and small access lids, so it's easy to pour the food into the bin from the bag, and then into your pet's bowl from the bin. Though the bin is super thin, it’s made of strong plastic and holds 20-24 pounds of pet food. It’s designed to keep your pet’s food fresh. You can stack bins on top of each other as well.
Order one or more Bergan’s Smart Storage bins by clicking on the picture of the bin below. You’ll be taken to the Amazon.com page featuring the bin where you can get more info and place your order.
