Could Cold Weather Cause Food Shortages and Other Survival Threats?
Snow in
A recent headline read "Crops Under Stress as Tempertures Fall." It brings up an important question. What if we face a greater threat from cooling weather than from global warming? Some scientists are saying it's possible, based on the way the sun is behaving.
It reminds me of a movie from the 1970's called "Deadly Harvest," where cold weather caused crop failures and food shortages. The family featured in the story decided it was time to grow food using hydroponics. Back in the ‘70’s there were concerns about a coming ice age, not global warming.
Who's right about which way the climate will change? We'll have to wait and see. Be prepared for change.

When the midwest grain belt gets hit by climate change, we are in for some trouble on all fronts. A hungry population leads to much danger. It won't be pretty.

Quite right.
