Beans, Beans, the Survival Fruit…The More You Eat, the More you…Live!
It’s hard to find a better storage food item than dry beans. They’re wonderfully nutritious, and there are so many kinds of them for baking or putting into soups and many other dishes.
If you need suggestions on cooking with beans, click here to find a couple of cookbooks devoted to beans. Just scroll down to the second box of items. It's the Food and Health category, and you'll find them there.
Pictured above are organic Navy beans, and they come from a surprising source. At least I was surprised to find them. But let me back up a bit.
I’m pleased to welcome Kalyx.com to the lineup of DestinySurvival sponsors. They’re like an online health store and more. Their array of products is truly amazing. You’ll find everything at Kalyx.com from herbs and spices to nutritional supplements, bath and body care items, hydroponics equipment, dry beans and grains, and a lot more.
When you click on the picture above, you’ll be taken to the page where you can order 25 pounds of organic Navy beans for your survival pantry. When you click on the logo below, you’re taken to the Kalyx.com home page, where you can explore their many other offerings. Yes, beans and rice - a complete protein. Perhaps the best long term storage food combo of all.

No doubt about it, and eating them doesn't have to be boring. I thought it was a good idea to let readers know of one more source for beans and grains, particularly the organic Navy beans.
