Survival and the Flu Game–Get CeraLyte and Stay Alive

Did somebody secretly hire the Disney company to hype swine flu and its anticipated vaccine?  I’ve heard of two online games centered around the swine flu, and there’s now a stuffed pink toy in the shape of the swine flu virus as seen under a microscope.  Plus, you can track the swine flu outbreak on your iPhone.  This is shaping up to be quite a marketing campaign.

Think about that stuffed toy for a minute.  Can there be a more disgusting and desensitizing method to reach children?  "Cuddle up with Mr. Swine Flu Virus.  He can be your friend.  Now, take your shot like a good little boy or girl and…er, uh, I mean, all will be well.  Isn’t that nice?"

Seriously though, I read recently that the patent for the swine flu vaccine was taken out in 2007.  No, that’s not a typo.  Put it in the category of “Things that make you go, Hmmm.”

Numerous cases of the swine flu, or at least flu like symptoms, have hit schools and colleges hard already.  It’s quite early in the school year for this to be happening, and it bears watching.

You no doubt know enough to practice the necessary precautions to avoid the flu or cope with it when it hits—wash hands frequently, stay home when you’ve got a fever, etc.

I’ve got another weapon for your antiflu arsenal.  It’s CeraLyte Oral Rehydration Salts, available from Nitro-Pak.  When you get the flu, they always tell you to drink plenty of fluids.  That’s so you don’t become dehydrated.  CeraLyte is a rice-based oral rehydration solution with a low salt concentration.  It has a rice syrup formula that’s effective in reducing volume and duration of diarrhea.

CeraLyte is specially formulated to provide the minerals and salts you need for replacing fluids lost from diarrhea, vomiting and heat exhaustion.  CeraLyte helps promote early recovery and can be used by by both adults and children.

CeraLyte is an essential for every first aid and survival kit, especially if you’re traveling or backpacking.   It’s used by the U.S. Air Force in all their Survival kits and in all U.S. Military Combat MASH facilities in Iraq.  CeraLyte is also recommended by the CDC (Center for Disease Control), and is used in hospitals nationwide.  It has a proven performance record and is also used around the world by disaster relief agencies.

CeraLyte Oral Rehydration Salts is rice based, not sugar based like others.  It’s citrus flavored powder that quickly mixes with water to make an electrolyte solution to help prevent dehydration.  Developed by doctors at Johns Hopkins University, it’s also high in protein  and carbohydrates.

CeraLyte comes with two 1 liter packets and makes 1 Liter Per Packet

Just mix with 1 liter, or 4.25 cups of water.  You can also make smaller 7 ounce portions using 2 teaspoons.

To order CeraLyte, click on the Nitro-Pak logo, which takes you to their home page.  On their sidebar, click on Swine Flu Info.  On the page that appears, you’ll see several photos of  swine flu related products.  Look for CeraLyte and click on its image to view the quantities in which CeraLyte is available.  Click on an image for more info or buy from that page.

When the rest of the world is either panicking or making a game out of swine flu, you can take meaningful action with CeraLyte and other common sense remedies you know for survival.
