Survival Health–More Reasons Not to Take the Swine Flu Shot and What You Can Do Instead

Are you aware that the World Health Organization (WHO) says the swine flu virus has not mutated into something deadly and isn’t getting worse?  At least one doctor I’ve heard of said he thinks it may have even gotten milder.  The bottom line: There’s no need to take the swine flu vaccine when it’s trotted out soon, in spite of the media hype.

Reportedly, the package insert for the H1N1 vaccine admits to the possibility of all kinds of horrible side effects.  This can be said of the package inserts for any number of drugs these days, but why take chances with the swine flu vaccine?  I wonder, why even take the seasonal flu vaccine?

Recently, health writer Bill Sardi gave 18 reasons not to take the swine flu shot, particularly why you shouldn’t let it be given to your children.  Here are a few of his reasons with my comments in parentheses.  I’ll put a link to the full article below.

*   This flu is simply another flu. It is not unusually deadly.

*   Health authorities tacitly admit prior flu vaccination programs were of worthless value.

*   In addition to failure to produce sufficient antibodies, this swine flu vaccine is brought to you by the same people who haven’t been able to adequately produce a seasonal flu vaccine that matches the flu strain in circulation.

*   The vaccines will be produced by no less than four different manufacturers, possibly with different additives (called adjuvants) and manufacturing methods.  (Would you allow yourself or your children to be injected with lead or mercury, no matter how small the amount?)

*   This is the first year mock vaccines have been used to gain FDA approval. Mock vaccines are made to gain approval of the manufacturing method and then the prevalent virus strain in circulation is added just days before it is actually placed into use.

*   Over-vaccination is a common practice now in America.

*   Health officials want to vaccinate women during pregnancy, subjecting the fetal brain to an intentional biological assault.

*   This triple reassortment virus appears to be man made.

*   Researchers are warning that over-use of the flu vaccine and anti-flu drugs like Tamiflu and Relenza can apply genetic pressure on flu viruses and then they are more likely to mutate into a more deadly strain.

*   Most seasonal influenza A (H1N1) virus strains tested from the United States and other countries are now resistant to Tamiflu.

*   The news media is irresponsible in stirring up unfounded fear over this coming flu season.

*   Public health officials are irresponsible in their omission of any ways to strengthen immunity against the flu.

*   Will we ever learn if the flu vaccine this year is deadly in itself?  (Will it be covered up as in 1993 when a deadly flu outbreak killed thousands of nursing home patients?  That’s the first year flu shots were covered by Medicare…Things that make you go, “Hmmm.”)

If your children are given flu shots at school, will you be asked to give permission?  If they’re administered the H1N1 vaccine via nasal spray, there could be virus shedding, meaning other members of your family could get the virus.  What a clever way to spread the disease, all in the guise of preventing it.  Doesn’t this make another good case for home schooling your children?

Sardi and others recommend taking vitamin D and C, and perhaps other supplements such as zinc and selenium.  The important thing is to build up your immune system.  You can find immune building supplements at Puritan’s Pride.  Also, Dr. Len Horowitz has a site called Flu Scam devoted to issues surrounding the swine flu.  He offers a product called Oxysilver, which is claimed to be superior to colloidal silver for its antiviral effect.

There are also homeopathic remedies with documented proof of their effectiveness against the flu.  More about that in an article linked below.

Here are two other simple, practical things you can do.

Carry hand sanitizer with you wherever you go in public.  Never mind if people think you’re a neat freak like Detective Monk on TV.  You’re trying to stay well.  Incidentally, my wife and I saw a bottle of hand sanitizer near the entrance as we entered a buffet restaurant recently.  We don’t eat out much, so maybe other restaurants are doing the same and we haven’t noticed.

If you want to order a quality hand sanitizer online, Puritan’s Pride has it.  When you click on their logo, type hand sanitizer in their search box and you’ll see it right away.

Get in the habit of doing nasal washes.  Nasopure offers a simple effective system for washing your nose daily to get rid of allergens and other nasties that could make you sick.  I’ll put a link to their site below so you can check it out.  If you buy something from them, please mention DestinySurvival.com.

There are no guarantees that you won’t get the flu, regardless of whether it’s seasonal flu or H1N1; but you’ll live through it better if you don’t take the shot.  Forget about pre-existing conditions making you more vulnerable to the flu.  If you know anything about the vaccine and its effects, wouldn’t you rather take your chances without it?  I certainly would.

I’ve been seeing stories about health and rescue workers being pressured into taking the H1N1 vaccine, so I realize just saying “No” to the shot won’t be easy if you’re one of those under the gun.  I suggest getting Dr. Tenpenny’s book on how to legally say no to vaccines, which I’ve written about previously.

  • Nancy Mueller:

Apparently. I am a survivor… I have had H1N1 and lived to tell the story. Since I have chronic asthma, I have been “worried sick” about getting the flu. It was not as bad as it has been touted. The headache and the muscle aches (arms and legs mostly) were the worst part. It started with chills the first day. If I hadn’t gone ahead and eaten a normal meal when I knew that I was not feeling well, there wouldn’t have been much nausea. There was a few hours of 102* fever; but, munching on a few ice chips kept away dehydration. Chicken soup, crackers, and resting for about 3 days afterward was my “cure”. I was quite prepared to run to the ER if, at any point,I was unable to use my inhalers on my normally prescribed schedule. H1N1 can be deadly, just as any other disease or event can be; but, rational thinking and common sense can go a long way. Perhaps just getting a pneumonia shot, which is good for 5 years, would be a better idea than getting the much hyped swine flu shots that are being glorified by the media and the government. Nancy, thanks so much for sharing your experience. I’m glad you’re alive to tell us about it, and I hope others will find it instructive.

  • Thank you for your help!

    You’re welcome.
